how do I add to the shopping cart?
you can add to the shopping cart from the detailed page of a product only as you need to specify the colour and if applicable the size. next to the main image of every product there is a 'pram' button, which is our shopping cart. just click on the 'pram' button to add to your shopping cart.

how do I know my item has been added to the shopping cart?
once you have clicked on the 'pram' button to place the item in your shopping cart, your page will refresh and the item will then be added. you can then locate the shopping cart in the left hand side column of the online store or 'view cart' in the top menu navigation bar. your items will be listed in the shopping cart and you can edit them from there.

how do I edit my items?
locate the shopping cart in the left hand side column of the online store and click 'edit items' or click 'view cart' in the top menu navigation bar.

how do I get to the checkout?
first locate the shopping cart in the left hand side column of the online store or to 'checkout' in the top menu navigation bar. when 'checkout' is clicked, it will take you directly to the secure checkout for completion of the purchase.

payment options
payment options will be listed on the third page of the secure checkout. at the base of the page there will be a drop down list to choose your preferred method.
we accept payment online through our shopping cart system by visa, mastercard and direct deposit. you can also redeem a britt design gift voucher but please note that the whole amount of the gift voucher must be used in one transaction.

how do I create an account?
in the left hand side column of the online store you will see a customers box. in this box you can choose from the existing customer or new customer sections. once an account has been created you will log on as an existing customer on all future visits to the online store. if you place products in your shopping cart they will be remembered even if you leave this online store and come back later.
if you are a wholesale customer, you will need to log in as an existing customer to be able to view wholesale information and purchase at wholesale prices.

oh dear, i forgot my password.
on the edit page of your account, found via the 'customers' box, there is a link called 'forgotten your password? click here'. this is where you can have your password emailed directly to you.

exchanges and returns
we want you to be very happy with your experience purchasing from our online store. if you would like to exchange or return a product please let us know within a week of receiving it. then please send it back to us, at your expense, in its packaging, unwashed and unworn. we need to receive it back at our office within two weeks of receiving your email advising of your wish to return it.
please make sure your name, address, daytime phone number, original invoice number are clearly indicated. please address the parcel to:

exchanges: if you wish to exchange for something else, please you will need to pay $10 postage for the replacement product to be sent. if the product you want instead is more expensive you will need to pay the difference. please clearly advise what product you want in exchange when you return the original item. for these payments you can supply your credit card name, number, expiry date and security code (last three digits on the back of your card), send a money order or pay by direct deposit.
returns: if you would like a full refund (excluding postage costs) that is fine wiht us. please just advise the reason for the return and we will refund your original method of payment. if you paid by a money order, we will send you a refund cheque.

product inavailability and back orders
if a product isn't immediately available, our customer service department will email you to advise the situation. you can then let us know if you want to wait for the product to be available, choose an alternative or cancel your order.

do you send to my country?
to find out if we ship to your country, first fill your shopping cart and locate the shopping cart basket on the left hand side column of this site. within this shopping basket there is a link called 'calculate shipping'. once you click on this link there is a drop down list of countries to choose from and if your country is listed then our online store will ship to you. Please note you will have to pay the local duty costs. (we advise you check this before ordering)

we dispatch orders within one week of receipt unless our customer service department advises otherwise by email. please see your part of the world below for estimated delivery times and costs.
if you need the parcel urgently, please advise and we can try to send it by express post at an additional cost. if you aren't home during the day, we recommend you supply a work address so there will be someone to receive the parcel as a signature may be required.

when will my credit card be charged?
your credit card is charged once we recieve the order. if we have any problems with getting approval for the transaction, we will contact you for alternative payment.

how do i pay by direct deposit?
if you would like to pay by direct deposit, please choose this option in the check-out. you will receive an email from us advising of our bank account details. please pay the full amount within three days of receiving our email otherwise the order will be cancelled. it is very important that you type your surname in the transaction record so we can tell who is paying the amount.

how do i pay by money order?
if you would like to pay by money order, please choose this option in the check-out, please make sure we receive the money order within seven days of the order being placed otherwise it will be canceled.
